​Rishi Kapoor Was The Driving Force On Sets Says Ashrut Jain

Ashrut Jain, who shared screen space with Rishi Kapoor in Mulk, expresses his grief over his demise, said he was the most energetic actor and he was driving force on sets.  
Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor has passed away, he was hospitalised on Wednesday morning after complaining that he was not feeling well. He was admitted to Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai. Wife Neetu Kapoor was at his side.
Talking about Rishi Kapoor’s demise and his working experience with the actor, Ashrut said, “It’s a very sad day for all of us and he was a legend. I still remember during Mulk, when I worked with him, whatever he did, or he said, with his body language, he was the driving force on the sets. He was that charismatic and energetic. He would take everyone’s performance to a whole new level. He used to be the heartbeat of the entire set”  
“It is heart-breaking and really sad that he passed away at such an early age, I mean, 67 is not an age, there was so much cinema left in him. It is indeed a sad and painful day. This is too much to take, Irrfan Khan passed away yesterday, Rishi Kapoor passed away today, and I hope and pray that things go smoothly for entire Kapoor family”
Further sharing his working experience on the sets of Mulk, actor Ashrut said, “He was energetic and full of life; the word would be Zindadil (Full of Life). Interaction with were from a whole new level. He was so full of good energy. People would wait for him to sets, moment he would arrive; it was like, now something fun will happen. He would fill the sets with good and positive energy. He would always help and guide his co-actors. He would shares stories from 80’s, he was so full of information and you could just listen to him for hours. He had worked for five decades, he was an encyclopedia of everything”
In 2018, Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with cancer for the first time, following which the actor was in New York for nearly a year to undergo treatment. He returned to India in September 2019 after recovering.
Post return to India, his health has frequently been in focus. The actor was admitted to hospital in quick succession in February. Amid speculations about his health, he had been hospitalised in New Delhi in early February, while on a visit to New Delhi.
