Noted Actor and popular name among AD-makers and filmmakers, Jay Thakkar is merely 19 years old but he is wiser than his age. The young and bright artist didn’t just stop with Eco-Friendly Ganpati Visarjan, he used the soil and water from the Idol, help sustain his garden.

With pollution on the rise, Jay Thakkar decided to take the Eco-Friendly Ganpati celebration to a whole new level.

During Ganpati Visarjan, Jay Thakkar interacted with media and said, “Like always this year too we had taken an Eco-friendly Ganpati Idol and gave it an Eco-farewell by submerging it inside a bucket full of water. Later, when the idol got dissolved inside the water, I took that muddy water and poured it onto the plants and trees of my complex’s garden, so now I can proudly say that not only I took an Eco-friendly Ganpati but I also truly saved my water bodies from getting polluted from Visarjan”

“I watered my trees and plants, did no noise, air or water pollution and helped in a better sustainable development of the nature. I think as a responsible Eco-warrior, I can do simple things, if not anything else”

Jay Thakkar entered the world of media in 2004, and so far he has worked in more than 50 Ad films, on some he has collaborated with big names, like Aamir Khan and Nitesh Tiwari.
