#KGF influenced from Agneepath, Deewar, Kala Patthar; admits Yash

The spectacular trailer of Kannada Cinema’s most anticipated and probably the biggest film KGF has taken the nation by storm! Especially, if we talk about Kannada Social Media, every one is talking about how awesome the KGF Trailer.

But the Trailer to me, reminded of Amitabh Bachchan’s cult classic ‘Agneepath’ from the 90s. The opening music can be easily compared with Agneepath’s theme music. The lines where the Young Yash says “I want the World” was heard by Big B in Agneepath as “I want Mandwa Village”.

We asked Yash and he gladly admitted “Yes, KGF is influenced from films such as Agneepath and Deewar and especially from Salim-Javed’s writing era of 70s and 80s. If you love Cinema then you have to be an Amitabh Bachchan fan. And i am a Big B Fan“.

Further on, Yash also told a bit about the film’s story where he said “KGF is about Greed and a man’s journey where he explores his struggle about achievements. The film also talks about Gold Field which will give you a pure commercial entertainment“.

KGF revolves around the protagonist Rocky (Played by Yash) who leads a group of oppressed people against their tormentors. The film  is directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Hombale Films.
