When Shah Rukh Khan introduced the new Anurag and Prerna on TV

The very day Ekta Kapoor announced that she is bringing back her popular shows Kasautii Zindagii Kay once again in a newly reformed avatar, her fans couldn’t keep calm.

Going back in the 2001-2008 era of Kasautii Zindagii Kay, it was one of the longest running shows on Indian television. It was a love story between two characters Anurag and Prerna, who had to face a lot of hurdles throughout their life. Shweta Tiwari played the role of the Prerna and Cezanne Khan was seen as Anurag.

The show was also popular for Ronit Roy who played the role of Mr Bajaj, another important character in the show who was Prerna’s husband. Actress Urvashi Dholakia played the iconic villain Komolika.

Ekta Kapoor now finally shares the promo of Kasautii Zindagii Kay with the king of romance, Shah Rukh Khan introducing the new Anurag and Prerna.

Ekta took to her Instagram page to share the first ever promo which created all the excitement. The promo starts with Shah Rukh Khan telling us the tale of two lovers Anurag and Prerna. The title track is beautifully shot with a red dupatta flying which is also a symbol of Anurag and Prerna’s love.

Two fresh talents are introduced by SRK where Erica Fernandes will be seen as Prerna and Parth Samthaan will play Anurag’s role in the show.
