To prevent the spread of coronavirus, the most important thing is to increase our immunity.  All the necessary safety measures should be followed to increase immunity.

Our body should not only protect from cold and common infections but also it's necessary to take precautions against serious illness. As they say, Precaution is Better than Cure, it is better to follow it.

As we all know  Giloy or Amruthaballi have numerous medicinal properties. It's used in Ayurveda from ancient times. It has antioxidant and antibacterial properties. It has also helped to Boost immunity. Hence let us see the method of preparing Giloy Kashaya today. 

Konkani Foodie: Amruta Balli (Giloy/ Guduchi)

Required Ingredients: -

1) Giloy or Amruthaballi Leave:-10
2) Basil Leaves:- 18-20
3) Pepper:- 1 spoon
4) Turmeric :- /2 spoon
5) Jaggery: - 2 spoons
7) Water: - 750 ml

 Method of preparation:- Put 750 ml (approximately 3 glasses) of water into a container and place it on the stove.  Then add the Amruthaballi leaves, basil leaves, pepper, turmeric, and jaggery to the water.

Mix well once. Then close the lid and let it boil.  Boil well for 15 minutes.  After 15 minutes Kashaya is ready .. it can be filtered and ready for consumption.
