It was yesterday when Ananya Panday made an announcement that they will be revealing the theatrical release date of the film 'Liger' today. Ananya gave a big surprise to everyone when she spoke Telugu in the video. Today, finally Karan Johar has revealed the release date of the film. The film will be released in theatres on 9th September 2021.
Sharing the poster of the film with the release date, Karan wrote,"All set to pack a punch around the globe! #Liger is releasing in theatres on 9th September worldwide in 5 languages- Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada & Malayalam. #Liger9thSept #SaalaCrossBreed."
The film Liger is directed by Puri Jagannadh. It features Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday in lead roles. It also features Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy among others. The film will release worldwide in 5 languages Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film has been co-produced by Karan Johar, Charmme Kaur, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar along with Puri's production house Puri Connects.
As far as the story is concerned, nothing has been revealed about the makers till now about the film. Vijay will be seen playing the role of a boxer in the film. Now the release date of the film has been revealed, slowly more details will be announced.
