Veteran actress Neetu Kapoor just took to her social media profile and confirmed that Ranbir Kapoor has contracted Covid-19 and he is recovering well.
The news was viral that Ranbir Kapoor has tested positive for Corona but there was no update for his team or family member, until now.
Neetu Kapoor shared a picture of Ranbir Kapoor on her social media and wrote, “Thank you for your concern and your good wishes...Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well. He is in self-quarantine at home and following all precautions”
On the work front, Neetu Kapoor is currently working on a comeback to the silver screen. The film is titled Jug Jugg Jeeyo, starring Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Kiara Advani in the lead roles.
As for Ranbir, he will be seen inShamshera' which is an action-adventure film directed by Karan Malhotra and produced by Yash Raj Films. The film stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles alongside him. Set in the 1800s, the film is about a dacoit tribe who took charge in the fight for their rights and independence against the British. Ranbir will be seen in a double role in the film. The film will release on June 25.
He will also be seen in 'Brahmastra: Part One of Three, which is an action fantasy film directed by Ayan Mukherji and produced by Karan Johar. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt in lead roles alongside Ranbir. It also features Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna in pivotal roles.
He will also be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga'sAnimal' which also features Parineeti Chopra, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol.
