​Aankhen 2 Scripting is Complete Says Anees Bazmee

Bollywood is buzzing with news that filmmaker Anees Bazmee will be helming the sequel of Aankhen 2 and now we have candid confirmation about the cast and script from the filmmaker.

Anees Bazmee recently interacted with media on the sidelines of social event and talked about Aankhen 2 and forthcoming Pagalpanti.

Thespian Amitabh Bachchan, who was part of the original Aankhen (2002), will star in this film but Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez’s names are also often seen in news as part of the ensemble.

When we asked Anees Bazmee about the cast of the film and Sidharth being part of the ensemble, he said, “See such names are there and there will be more such names coming out in future, but till recently we were working on the script, we have just completed the script. We have narrated the film to Amitabh Bachchan, he is part of the ensemble”

“We are talking to many people, it is in the process right now and we will soon make the official announcement about who is part of the film and who is not” said Anees.

The casting for the film is still underway and only script along with Big B are confirmed.

Anees is currently busy with Pagalpanti, which is another ensemble romantic comedy, starring Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Ileana D’Cruz, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda, Urvashi Rautela and Saurabh Shukla. The film is based on an Indian superstition about ‘Shani’ Saturn.

Talking about the film, he said, “Film has shaped out well, it is a beautiful film. Everybody is very excited, we have a huge ensemble. The music is awesome and we have shot the film on a lavish scale and I hope as much as we have enjoyed making it, audience enjoys it just the same”

Pagalpanti is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Abhishek Pathak, Krishan Kumar and Kumar Mangat. The filming is scheduled to be released on 8 November 2019.
