Abhishek Bachchan unveiled a teaser of Amazon Prime Videos upcoming documentary series titled ‘Sons Of The Soil’ on social media on Friday.
Sharing the teaser of the series on his Instagram handle, Abhishek wrote, “I have never been this excited in my life. Abhishek Bachchan bought the Pro Kabaddi League franchise team Jaipur Pink Panthers in 2014. Jaipur Pink Panthers won the first-ever championships held in 2014.
‘Sons of the Soil’ is a gripping documentary series that goes behind the scenes to follow one of India’s most celebrated Pro Kabaddi league team called the Jaipur Pink Panthers. The show talks about the struggles, pain, and the ultimate journey towards success. The narrative revolves around the team’s graph, the journey of the players, their motivations, and how a team collectively builds a plan towards achieving success.
It is directed by Alex Gale and Omkar Potdar. The trailer of the series will release on 24th November and the series will stream on Amazon Prime Video from 4th December.

He next will be seen onscreen in Kookie Gulati’s biographical crime film titled ‘The Big Bull’. The film revolves around stockbroker Harshad Mehta's life involving his financial crimes over a period 10 years, from 1980 to 1990. It also stars Ileana D’Cruz and Nikita Dutta in prominent roles.
He will also play the titular role in Diya Annapurna Ghosh’s upcoming crime thriller film ‘Bob Biswas’. The film is being produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. It also stars Chitrangada Singh, Purab Kohli, Tina Desai, Deepraj Rana and Amar Upadhyay in key roles.
