The progressive love story of a cross-functional athlete, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor in the lead roles, wraps up their shoot in a 48 days start-to-finish schedule.
Guy In The Sky Pictures venture is helmed by Abhishek Kapoor, titled Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui will see Ayushmann in the role of a cross-functional athlete. The film marks the first collaboration of Ayushmann, Vaani, and Abhishek.
The official handle of Guy In The Sky Pictures dropped the wrap-up party pictures on social media. They captioned it, “2021 will be all about love and laughter! In the pictures, the entire cast and crew is happily smiling for the camera and hosted a small cake-cutting celebration as well. The film release date is not yet finalized. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Pragya Kapoor.
Actress Vaani Kapoor also shared the news about wrapping the shoot of the film in one of her insta-stories.
Apart from ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ Vaani Kapoor will also be seen in ‘Bell Bottom’ with Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta, and Huma Qureshi. On the other hand, Ayushmann has now signed up for a new film ‘Doctor G’.
Khurrana was most recently seen in the satire “Gulabo Sitabo” which released on Amazon Prime Video in June, whereas Vaani Kapoor’s last cinematic appearance was the 2019 action spectacle “War”.
