“Cauvery has been the source of well being, prosperity and the very source of water for both Karnataka &tamilnadu states. The people of both states should save the Cauvery water. And use it in a proper way.

Many institutions, politicians have tried to save Cauvery water. But this time The IshaFoundation has decided to start a campaign called “Cauvery Calling” Abhiyaan.

To improve the percentage of Cauvery water. By planting trees, plant’s etc… Actress Priyanka Upendradecided to join the foundation to protect the Cauvery river.

Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev who is the founder of Isha foundation had announced the “Cauvery Calling Abhiyaan “ in both Karnataka & Tamilnadu states.

The percentage of Cauvery water has decreased from 46 percent to 30 percent this leads to a severe water problem in both states.

By this abhiyaan they had been decided to plant more than 242crore of plants in the river valley. And 25crore of plants in government land’s.
