Singer and television host Aditya Narayan announced that he is all set to marry his longtime girlfriend Shweta Agarwal in December. He shared the news with his fan on social media on Tuesday and added that he is going to take a break from social media for his marriage preparation.
Sharing his picture along with Shweta Agarwal on Instagram, Aditya wrote, “We are getting married! I am the luckiest man alive to have found Shweta, my soulmate, 11 years ago & we are finally tying the knot in December. We are both extremely private people & believe that it’s best to keep one’s private life, well, private. Taking a break from social media for Shaadi prep. See you in December”.
In the picture, Aditya can be seen hugging Shweta as they give a smiling pose for the camera. Aditya’s friends from the film and television industry such as Nia Sharma, Shamita Shetty, Sana Amin Sheikh, Dhvani Bhanushali, Jankee Parekh Mehta, Jonita Gandhi and many others congratulated the couple in the comment section.
Aditya Narayan and Shweta Agarwal met on the sets of 2010 film ‘Shaapit’. The two co-starred in the Vikram Bhatt directorial which marked Aditya's acting debut.
Earlier this year, Aditya Narayan and singer Neha Kakkar trended on social media because of their wedding rumours. Later it was revealed that it was a promotional movie for the Valentine's Day special episode of ‘Indian Idol’ which he hosted and Neha Kakkar appeared as a judge. Neha Kakkar got married to Rohanpreet Singh last month.
In October, there were news reports that Aditya Narayan had gone bankrupt during the pandemic, but the singer rubbished the rumours.
Aditya Narayan has sung for films such as ‘Ram Leela’ and more recently ‘Dil Bechara’. Apart from ‘Indian Idol’, he is known for hosting television reality shows such as ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge’, ‘Rising Star’ and ‘X Factor India’.
