Akshay Kumar’s money spinner Gold released in Saudi Arabia

Akshay Kumar’s Gold is winning hearts everywhere in the country as well as overseas. It has crossed about Rs 100 crores in the domestic box office and is set to now rule the overseas too!

Gold is the first Bollywood film to have a release in Saudi Arabia and the very happy and excited actor shared a tweet about it.

Akshay wrote, “The story of India’s first Gold medal victory for the first time in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Happy to share, #Gold is the first ever Bollywood movie to release in the Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia, in cinemas from today! @excelmovies @ZeeStudiosInt.”

Gold is the story of a sports fanatic (Akshay Kumar) who is instrumental in inspiring the Indian hockey team to achieve a gold medal for the first time after independence. The movie also marks the film debut of actress Mouni Roy. The film is directed by Reema Katgi and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani for Excel Entertainment.

Akshay Kumar also has some interesting films lined up with Dharma Productions, out of which one will be Kesari and the other would be Good News with Kareena Kapoor Khan paired opposite Akshay.

Also, the actor has the most anticipated Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 in which he plays half human and half crow.
