Article 15, Most Relevant And Important Film Of Indian Cinema Says Ayushmann Khurrana

Badhaai Ho actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who plays a cop in Anubhav Sinha‘s upcoming film Article 15, says it is the most relevant and important film of Indian cinema, as the movie completes is shooting.

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana just took to his social media profile and shared a quirky miniature of his character and shared a heartfelt note for the maker and announced that the film has completed its shooting.

He wrote, “Wrapped up a film which will become the most relevant and important film of Indian cinema. Thank you @anubhavsinha sir for giving me this gem and also writing the most real cop role ever”

Article 15 will see Ayushmann in a different avatar from the usual roles that the audience are habitual to see the actor perform, the upcoming film is a cop drama set in Uttar Pradesh.

‘Article 15’ of the Indian Constitution prohibits discrimination by the state against any citizen on the basis of religion, race, caste, sex, and place of birth. Earlier, the first look of the film was revealed which showed Ayushmann sporting a moustache in police uniform.

Helmed by Anubhav Sinha of ‘Mulk’ fame, the film also stars Isha Talwar, Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub, Sayani Gupta, Manoj Pahwa, and Kumud Mishra.
