"Covid-19 Recovery Records 98.68 Percent".
In Gurugram, the district administration said that the recovery rate of corona virus-infected patients has increased from 95 percent to 98.68 percent as recorded on Thursday.
“As the recovery rate is improving in the district, but still, we would like to advise the residents to be vigilant while the cases of Covid-19 are decreasing, we have to continue to take precautions to eradicate the disease from the district,” said Virender Yadav, civil surgeon Gurugram.
Several awareness campaigns organized by the district administration and health facilities and increased awareness among residents have constantly improved the rate of recovery in corona infected patients noted health official.
“So far a total of 57,888 Covid patents have been found in the district. A total of 57,126 patients have been given discharge post-treatment” said the health officials.
The number of active cases is 411 in Gurugram. Since pandemic 351 have died in the district.
Currently, there are 369 Corona infected patients under home isolation in the district and 42 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals.
For the past seven days, the number of corona patients per day was being recorded below 50, according to the daily health bulletin.
The Haryana Government recently reduced the rates for the Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) and Rapid Antigen Test for private laboratories. The price has reduced to INR 499 from INR 700, while the home collection has been capped at INR 699 from INR 900 respectively.
