Deepika Padukone to set up production house?

After Anushka Sharma turning producer and Kangana Ranaut turning director, it’s time for Deepika Padukone to set up her stake in the Bollywood film industry. There are rumors that she will soon be setting up her production house, and one of her first concepts will be a female oriented film.

The rumors further conclude that Deepika will be launching her maiden venture, which will be produced by Meghna Gulzar. The rumors go on to say that the film might be based on the life of the acid attack survivor Laxmi, who went through nine major surgeries and became an inspiration for others.

More and more female actors are playing more important roles in Bollywood projects now. Alia Bhatt too will be joining her father’s film, Sadak 2, which will star Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and her.
