"‘Dehati Disco’ will be the first film to show Indian dance and arts in its purest form says, Ganesh Acharya".

Dance choreographer Ganesh Acharya, who is associated with a film named ‘Dehati Disco’, has said that the upcoming dance film will be the first film to show Indian dance and arts in its purest form to the audience.

Ganesh Acharya was interacting with the media at the poster launch of ‘Dehati Disco’ along with Tiger Shroff, percussionist Sivamani and cast and crew of ‘Dehati Disco’ on Thursday in Mumbai.

‘Dehati Disco’ is produced by Kamal Kishor Mishra and directed by Manoj Sharma. The film will go on floors from October 25 on the occasion of Dussehra.

Talking about his upcoming film ‘Dehati Disco’, Acharya said,  “Manoj (Sharma) came to me and told me that he wants to make a dance film, so I told him that I have registered one title for the film called ‘Dehati Disco’, so if you can do something around it then please do. After that, Manoj worked on every aspect of the film.”

He added, “We roped in Sivamani to do the music and then we decided to do the film with producer Kamal Kishore Mishra and that’s how we started working on this film. It’s our small effort to make a dance film but I can say that it will be the first film which will show Indian dancing and art in its purest form to the audience.”

Sharing his bond with Tiger Shroff with whom Acharya has worked on several occasions, Acharya said, “Tiger has always been there for me since the time we did our first song together ‘Whistle Baja’ (Heropanti). Earlier, Tiger came to the inauguration ceremony of my dancing academy, so he loves me a lot and today he is here to support our film.”

Sharing his bond with Ganesh Acharya, Tiger said, “Masterji (Ganesh Acharya) whenever thanks me, I feel that he is abusing me because the way he has helped me since my first film, I am really grateful to him. He worked with me in the first film ‘Heropanti’ and in that, we did a song together named ‘Whistle Baja’. I remember that I was really scared on that day on the film's set but Masterji supported me by saying encouraging words to me. I was literally struggling but he used to hold my hands and teach me the dance steps. He is always there to help me especially when it comes to dancing, so I am truly indebted to him.”

Wishing the team of ‘Dehati Disco’, Tiger said, “As far as this film is concerned, I feel this film is going to be a blockbuster because it has the right emotions, it has got Masterji who is synonymous to dancing. This film revolves around Dehati disco dance which is a mix of desi and international dance forms and it's a specialty of Masterji, so I am eagerly waiting for the release of this film and I want to wish all the best to the entire cast and crew of the film.”

On the film front, Tiger Shroff next will be seen on screen in the Hindi remake of the Hollywood film ‘Rambo’ and Ahmed Khan directorial ‘Heropanti 2’.
