​Educating And Empowering Women Is Crucial For Every Nation Says Shahrukh Khan

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan says educating and empowering women is very important for every nation, on the sidelines of Indian Film Festival of Melbourne event in Mumbai.
Shah Rukh Khan awards the PhD scholarship named after him to a girl from Kerala at a special event hosted by the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.

Ahead of August 2020, when the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne will walk into its eleventh year with a grand opening, the team organised a prelude event in Mumbai before their main event in Melbourne in August.
Shah Rukh Khan comes under the list of highly qualified film-stars who entered the world of cinema with a proper education. The actor was seen interacting with the media at ‘La Trobe University PhD Scholarship, which was named after the superstar last year, has been awarded to a young female researcher from Kerala. The actor said that he is a staunch believer in education.

Expressing his views on education, “I am a big believer of education. I truly believe that the way forward for any country, any family, any state, any city is by educating itself more and more in education. There is never an end for education. I have come to realise the more I know, I have figured out, less I understand. It’s very important to keep ourselves educating for the rest of life”

“I always believed in education and elsewhere in the world is the most important step forward for any nation. And of course, related to the fact of education of women and empowering women to look after themselves and to look after their families. I extremely believe that women are much more conscious than us men’s. Hence if you are able to empower women in education, the world even goes more forward” added Shahrukh.
Meanwhile on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Zero and hasn’t made any official announcement about his next project. But the speculations are rife that SRK might collaborate with Atlee for his next outing.
