Sonam Kapoor thankful for the respect for ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Tho Esa Laga‘ says the film is a feather in her cap.

Sonam interacted with media at the red carpet of Filmfare style and glamour awards on Monday.

talking about her recent release with father Anil Kapoor, ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Tho Esa Laga’ she said, “I am very happy and the audience has given us great respect and they have loved the film.  ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Tho Esa Laga’ is a feather in my cap.”

Sonam for the first time in a mainstream commercial film was seen representing the LGBTQ community in India. The actress has been greatly praised for the role since the trailer came out on social media. The movie stars Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Juhi Chawla, Abhishek Duhan, Seema Pahwa, Madhumalti & Brijendra Kala.

Sonam currently shooting for the Zoya Factor said she will spending the valentines day alone., “First Valentine’s day with my husband and I am not going to spend it with him, unfortunately.”

Directed by Abhishek Sharma and bankrolled by Fox Star Studios, Zoya Factor stars south Indian actor Dulquer Salmaan.

Based on  novel by Anuja Chauhan, of the same title the film will release in 2019.
