The festival of lights has begun and so is the trail of extravagant Diwali parties in Bollywood. The creative head of Balaji Telefilms Ekta Kapoor threw a Diwali bash at her residence. A lot of celebrities like Mouni Roy, Karishma Tanna, Hina Khan, Karan Patel, Mrunal Thakur, shabbier Ahluwalia, Anita Hassanandani, and others were a part of the celebrations. Judging from the pictures it seems like the party was a lot of fun.
Mouni Roy wore a white lehenga teamed up with a multi-colored choli and matching dupatta. Accessorized with a heavy golden and green necklace and earrings Mrunal Thakur’s who will is all geared up with her film Jersey was seen in a two-toned sari. Though it was classy yet Diva looked sexy in it.
Harleen Sethi looked stunning in a lavender-colored silk saree teamed up with a matching blouse. Karan Patel of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein's fame looked dapper in a printed brown kurta and pajama. His wife, Ankita Bhargava also looked gorgeous in an all-black outfit which she teams up with matching accessories.
The Kumkum Bhagya actor Shabir Ahluwalia wore a blue and white kurta pajama while his wife Kanchi Kaul stuns in a black outfit. Another couple Anita Hassanandani and husband Rohit Reddy, the expectant parents choose the same statement colors. Casting director and filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra were also seen at the party.
Covid-19, which still continues to surge in India with over 8 million cases ensured this year everybody to stay at home. A raging pandemic and overall economic gloom has taken away the sheen from Diwali for a lot of Indians. In this scenario, it might be a muted Diwali party for many Bollywood celebs or a party with a handful of friends.
