After sharing posters of their upcoming film, ‘Chehre’, the makers are now all set to unveil the much-awaited teaser on March 11. The movie brings together Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan for the first time.
Actor Emraan Hashmi dropped a new poster and teaser release date on his social media profile. He captioned it, “Chand Chehre, hazaaron Raaz. Har chehra kuch kehta hai aur bohot kuch chupata hai. In the poster, Emraan is seen sitting inside a car while Amitabh is seen looking at him from the outside. Around them are Krystle D'Souza, Annu Kapoor, Drithiman Chatterjee, and Raghubir Yadav. The film is expected to be a thriller.
The film is directed by Rumi Jaffry and the poster features Amitabh and Emraan with a serious expression, attempting to solve a mystery.
Controversial actress Rhea Chakraborty had been part of the ensemble but due to the SSR case, her name has been dropped. The makers haven’t issued a statement whether she is still part of the movie or not.
Bachchan plays the role of a lawyer, while Hashmi stars as a business tycoon. The film was announced on 11 April 2019 and filming began on 10 May 2019. It was scheduled for worldwide release on 17 July 2020 but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film is scheduled for release on 30 April 2021.
