Actress Esha Deol Takhtani unveiled Times Music’s Lakshmi Poojan Vidhi’s video ahead of the Diwali celebration on social media on Wednesday.
Sharing the poster of her video on her Instagram handle, Esha wrote, “I have personally performed the Lakshmi Pooja in this video timesmusic.spiritual with simple & easy guidelines. All of you who wish to perform the Lakshmi Pooja this Diwali can watch this video on YouTube & follow me. It would also be great to see the younger generation doing this Pooja ..Happy Diwali”.
In the six-minute long video, Esha can be seen performing rituals for Lakshmi Poojan and she is also stating the importance of Lakshmi Poojan during the Diwali festival to the audience.
Veteran actress Hema Malini and her daughter Esha Deol Takhtani have collaborated with singers Shreya Ghoshal and Shankar Mahadevan for a devotional music video series ahead of Diwali. While "Lakshmi Ashtakam" is by Hema Malini, her daughter Esha has performed "Lakshmipoojan Vidhi". A selection titled "Sampoorna Diwali Aarti" has been recorded in Shreya`s voice while "Deepdanam" has been sung by Shankar Mahadevan.
Esha Deol Takhtani made her Hindi film debut with ‘Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe’ which released in 2002. She has worked in films such as ‘Yuva’, ‘Dhoom’, ‘LOC Kargil’, ‘Dus’, ‘No Entry’, and many others.
Daughter of veteran actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini, Esha tied the knot with businessman Bharat Takhtani in June 2012. The couple has been blessed with two daughters.
Esha was last seen onscreen in Kishan Srikanth’s multi-lingual film ‘Care of Footpath 2’ which released in 2015. While her mother Hema Malini was last seen onscreen in Ramesh Sippy directorial ‘Shimla Mirchi’ (2020) along with Rajkummar Rao and Rakul Preet Singh.
