"Feeling happy and grateful for audience response to ‘Pati Patni Aur Panga’ says Adah Sharma".

Actress Adah Sharma, who recently featured in ‘Pati Patni Aur Panga’, has said that she is feeling very happy and grateful that the audiences are giving positive feedback to her recently released web series. She also added that she has a number of projects in the pipeline which includes ‘Commando 4’, the second season of web series ‘The Holiday’, and an unannounced international action film.
Adah Sharma was interacting with News Helpline at a promotional event of PETA on Wednesday in Mumbai.
Talking about the audience response to her web series ‘Pati Patni Aur Panga’ in which she starred opposite Naveen Kasturia, Adah said, “It has just been released and it was the highest watched show across all OTT platforms in its first week. I am really happy with the audience's response because it’s a show that speaks about gender equality and it tells people you shouldn’t judge other people without knowing their stories. I am very grateful that people are watching it and giving their positive feedback for our film.”
In the series, Adah Sharma (Shivani) is seen playing the role of a transgender woman who marries a man (Naveen Kasturia) who is not very accepting of her past, despite her being clear about it from the beginning.
Talking about her upcoming projects, Adah said, “One thing that 2020 has taught us that we can’t make future plans. There is no use in planning things because we don’t know what’s going to come ahead of us. I have shot for a lot of things and I have been fortunate in that way during the lockdown too to shoot for a lot of things. There is ‘Commando 4’, and the second season of ‘The Holiday’. There is an international action film also which I am waiting for people to know, so there is a lot of stuff coming out from my end in the next year.”
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India – with the help of film star Adah Sharma threw a Christmas party for chickens on Wednesday, the day before Christmas Eve.
PETA India recently rescued the hens from slaughter, but before they head to their new sanctuary home, they enjoyed a festive lunch of sweet corn, fruit, and other foods that they love, all at a table beautifully decorated for Christmas.
Adah has collaborated with PETA India on several occasions in the past, talking about PETA’s ‘Chicken being friends and not food’ initiative with Newshelpline, Adah said, “I believe in this cause as I was born into a vegetarian family. I have been a pure vegetarian since birth. I never ate non-vegetarian food and I am supporting this cause because it’s ingrained in my system. We often see chickens (a hen) are loaded in jam-packed trucks or tempos while traveling, so just imagine if the same happens with human beings. I think they are being killed in a very barbarian way. Any food that is consumed like that can’t be healthy for your system. If you don’t love animals then do it for yourself.”
She added, “A lot of people often ask me what’s the secret of my glowing skin, healthy hair, and creative mind; I think it is being a vegetarian. If you eat healthy food, you can live a very healthy life and you will enjoy your life even more if you are vegetarian, so I hope that I can influence people to turn vegetarian and make the world a healthy place. There is a perception in people’s minds that if you want to have a healthy physique then you have to eat non-vegetarian food but that’s not true. I am a highly energetic person and I think if you have a purely vegetarian diet then you can change your life. It’s never too late to change your habits, so I would like to urge people to at least try if not for the animals but for themselves.”
