"Feels nice to be compared with Hrithik-Katrina starrer ‘Bang Bang!’ says ‘Bang Bang ".

Actress Ruhi Singh, who will next be seen in a web series titled ‘Bang Bang - The Sound of Crimes’, has said that it feels nice when people are comparing their upcoming show with Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif starrer action-drama film ‘Bang Bang!’ which released in 2014.
Ruhi Singh was interacting with News Helpline to promote ‘Bang Bang - The Sound of Crimes’ along with her co-actor Mr. Faisu aka Faisal Shaikh on Thursday in Mumbai.
Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif featured in Siddharth Anand’s action-drama film ‘Bang Bang!’ in 2014. Since the trailer and poster of ‘Bang Bang -The Sound of Crimes’ have released people are comparing it with Hrithik and Katrina’s film on social media, talking about comparison, Ruhi said, “I think it’s a huge compliment for us because they both are fantastic actors and very big stars. It’s nice to be compared with people you look up to, so it’s a nice feeling to have as an actor.”
In ‘Bang Bang - The Sound of Crimes’, Ruhi Singh is playing the role of a serious police officer who is investigating a murder case.
Talking about her character in the show, Ruhi said, “I always wanted to play the role of a serious cop because you are often stereotyped in this industry when you come from a modeling background, so that was really a refreshing change for me as an actor. When the makers of this show approached me for this role, I was very happy. I feel being a woman getting to do a lot of action in the show was a very interesting thing for me. We have often seen that actresses get very few opportunities to do action scenes in a film or in a show. They are mostly there to up the glamour quotient of the project.”
She added saying that she wanted to show off her martial arts skills in the show, Ruhi said, “I always wanted to play a character where I can show off my martial arts skills to the audience. I don’t think there is any partiality in terms of the proportion of action scenes. I feel the lead actor (Faisal Shaikh) and I have got the equal opportunity to show off our acting skills in the show. I think because of that my responsibility increased a lot as I didn’t want to disappoint the makers of the show and the audience, so I had a great time shooting for this show.”

‘Bang Bang - The Sound of Crimes’ is set to be an extravaganza for the quintessential action lovers. The original web-series involves mystery, suspense, action, and youth drama loads amidst deep-lying secrets that unravel one by one. Produced by Akshay BP Singh and directed by Shraddha Pasi Jairath, ‘Bang Bang - The Sound of Crimes will stream on ALTBalaji and ZEE5 from 25th January.
