"Film 'Ram Prasad ki Tehrvi' To Release On This Date".
Actress Seema Pahwa who is known for her fabulous performances in Bala, Bareilly ki Barfi is turning into a director with her debut film 'Ram Prasad ki Tehrvi'. The film which was earlier planned to release on the OTT Platform will now hit the theatres on 1 January 2021.
She announced the news on her social media account and wrote, "Naye saal main Rishton ki uljhi huyi taaron ko suljhane...Ram Prasad Bhargav ji ke tehrvi pe aa Raha hai unka anokha parivar!! The film is set in a middle class North Indian family around the Bhargava Family. Ram Prasad Bhargava's sudden death brings his family back home where his wife lives alone. Their six children arrive with their families to complete his last rites. The film features an ensemble cast of Naseeruddin Shah, Supriya Pathak, Konkana Sen Sharma, Parambrata Chatterjee, Vinay Pathak, Vikrant Massey, and Manoj Pahwa among others.
The trailer of the film gives the crux of the drama that the audience is going to witness in the film. The film had its premiere at the Jio MAMI 21st Mumbai Film Festival 2019.
The film is directed by Seema Pahwa who makes her directorial debut with this film. It is produced by Studios and Drishyam Films. The film is all set to hit the screens on 1 January 2021.
