"Gabriella Demetriades Questioned By Narcotics Control Bureau".
Actor Arjun Rampal's girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades was spotted leaving for the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) office along with her lawyer. The South African model was summoned by the agency with her boyfriend Arjun Rampal in a Bollywood drug probe.
On Monday (November 9), Arjun Rampal's home was raided by the NCB officials and his driver was detained by the agency. Raids were also conducted at two other places in Khar and Andheri.
The actor's driver was questioned at the NCB office by Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede and his team.
Arjun Rampal and Gabriella Demetraides have been called for questioning a month after the model's brother, Agisialos Demetriades, was arrested by the agency in another drug case. The NCB had seized a small quantity of Hashish and Alprazolam tablets, which are both banned narcotic drugs, from him. Ex-Dharma Productions employee Kshitij Prasad was also arrested by the NCB in the same case. Both Agisialos and Kshitij Prasad were in touch with Omega Godwin, a Nigerian national arrested for the supply of cocaine in Mumbai.
Earlier, Bollywood producer Feroz Nadiadwala's wife, Shabana Saeed, was arrested after a raid was conducted at their home. Shabana Saeed was later released on bail. Feroz Nadiadwala was questioned for 9 hours by the NCB officials on Monday. As per reports, the NCB officials also recovered some quantity of drugs from the producer's home.
