Actress-producer Genelia D’Souza Deshmukh wrote a long and beautiful note on social media on Thursday as her actor-husband Riteish Deshmukh was celebrating his 42nd birthday. In her post, Genelia said that she found a perfect life partner in the form of a ‘Mauli’ actor. She added saying that she can’t believe that they stuck with their imperfections, weirdness, and flaws and found something so imperfectly perfect in their eight-year long married life.

Sharing a few pictures of herself along with Riteish on her Instagram handle, Genelia wrote, “There are times in life you search and you search and you search, for someone perfect. N sometimes you just never really find that person. I didn't search when I met you but I was in love with the idea of having a guy like you. N Then the real deal happened, You happened to me @riteishd.

She added, “We have gone through all our phases in life together, From being clueless teenagers to husband and wife to parents and it's all been beautiful but the best part of my life will always be YOU and that doesn't change, no matter how much time goes by..”

“So I don't believe we had everything perfect, I just believe we stuck with our imperfections, with our weirdness, with our flaws, and found something so imperfectly perfect..I Love You @riteishd. Happy Birthday, Navra,” she further wrote.

Reacting to Genelia’s post, Riteish wrote, “I don’t know what to reply to you Baiko - thank you for choosing me -I love you.”

Genelia and Riteish met on the sets of the 2003 film ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’, which were also their debut films. They got married in 2012, after dating for over eight years and they are parents to sons - Riaan and Rahul. They have co-starred in films such as ‘Masti’, ‘Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya’ and ‘Lai Bhaari’.

Ritiesh Deshmukh was last seen onscreen in ‘Baaghi 3’ along with Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor, and Ankita Lokhande.

Riteish Deshmukh and acclaimed filmmaker Nagraj Manjule have teamed up for a multilingual trilogy based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

The multilingual trilogy will be helmed by ‘Sairat’ director Nagraj Manjule and backed by Deshmukh's production banner- Mumbai Film Company.
