Filmmaker Karan Johar along with Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, and Prajakta Koli has kick-started the shooting for his upcoming film 'Jug Jug Jeeyo' in Chandigarh.
The comedy entertainer marks Neetu Kapoor's comeback in movies after seven years. She was last seen on-screen opposite her late superstar husband Rishi Kapoor in 'Besharam' in 2013.
Karan Johar took to Twitter to share an image of the clapperboard from the film shoot to announce the beginning of the shoot. "Every elder's blessing ... for a long and prosperous life #JugJuggJeeyo ... the journey begins today ... with your blessings,"
Veteran actor Anil Kapoor who will be seen sharing the screen space with Neetu Kapoor for the first time replied to the filmmaker and wrote, “Nothing matches the happiness, nervousness & excitement like the first day of shoot!!! #JugJuggJeeyo...We are ready! #firstshot”
Produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, the film is being directed by Raj Mehta, who earlier directed Good Newz, starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kiara Advani.
