"Hoping to do live shows rather than online concerts in the year 2021 says, Ankit Tiwari".

Singer-music composer Ankit Tiwari is hopeful that artists will be able to do live shows rather than online concerts in the year 2021. He also added saying that he will be the captain of the Uttar Pradesh team in the upcoming ‘Indian Pro Music League’ which will be aired on Zee television.

Ankit Tiwari was interacting with News Helpline to promote ‘Main Nahi Jaunga’ on Tuesday in Mumbai.

The coronavirus pandemic scripted a tale of unprecedented challenges for the flourishing industry that came to a screeching halt in 2020. The Hindi film industry hit a pause button in the year 2020 as productions halted and theatres shut their doors which resulted in a loss of thousands of crores. Amid the pandemic, thousands of workers were forced into unemployment.

Not just the Indian film industry but performing artists from various fields such as theatre, singers, musicians, stand-up comedians, dancers, and many others faced severe problems during the time Coronavirus pandemic. Many singers and stand-up comedians opted for online concerts to entertain the audience and to earn some revenue during these times.

When asked Tiwari what are his expectations for the year 2021, he said, “We all wish that 2021 turn out to be a different year than 2020 and we do live events and shows as artists and not through zoom calls (online concerts).”

Zee TV is going to add another feather in its cap as it has introduced a unique music reality show titled ‘Indian Pro Music League.’ The team of the show is claiming that it will be the first music league ever going to air on the small screen. Some of the legendary singers are promoting the show. The concept of the show is quite similar to the thriving Indian Premier League, the title of the show is like the game.

According to the latest reports, a total of 6 teams from several states will compete in the show. All the teams will represent their states and regions. The six teams will represent Mumbai, Punjab, U.P, Gujrat, Bengal, and Delhi. Besides, these teams will be owned by some of the dynamic personalities of the Entertainment industry including Shraddha Kapoor, Govinda, Riteish Deshmukh, Ananya Pandey.

Talking about his upcoming show, Tiwari said, “It’s the first musical league in India. The way sees and follows cricket leagues similarly, in this league, there are different teams which includes Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi, and others. I am the captain of team Uttar Pradesh.”
