Urmila Matondkar is an active politician today who represents the Shiv Sena Party. She has been very active since the time she has joined the party and because of her youth is actively supporting the party. The actress turned politician spoke to News Helpline on the eve of her birthday about Shiv Sena, her stand on the current Farmer Issue, and much more.
Talking about the excitement amongst the youth post her joining the party, she said, "Shiv Sena has always been strong because of its people. The members and its people are our party's major strength. I am so proud that all these people have given me so much respect and have considered me one amongst them"
Talking about what special plans she has, for the next year's Mumbai Mahanagar Palika elections, she said, "Shiv Sena has been serving the people of Mumbai for years now and it will continue to do that forever. I will have nothing special to do because everything is already done by the party. "
International and National Celebrities are now taking a stand on the current Farmers Law issue, talking same she said, "No country can be happy if the farmers of the country are not happy. Our country's motto has always been 'Jai Jawan Jai Kisan' so, in this difficult time, we should all stand by our farmers. I stand with the farmers of our country and I pray a solution is sought out really soon on this issue."
