‘Bigg Boss 14’ contestant Rakhi Sawant’s husband Ritesh has said that if he would be given an opportunity, he would like to enter ‘Bigg Boss 14’ to be with his actress wife. He also praised Rakhi saying that she has been an ideal wife since their marriage and she has been with him through a thick and thin periods of his life.
Ritesh was interacting with News Helpline over the telephonic conversation on Monday.
Rakhi Sawant grabbed several eyeballs when she announced her wedding on social media. She tied the knot on July 28, 2019, in Mumbai with Ritesh. Their wedding photos went viral on the internet in no time. Although Rakhi never shared her husband's photo, her secret wedding made headlines.
When asked Ritesh whether he will come in front of the media or enter ‘Bigg Boss’ house to be Rakhi Sawant, he said, “Yes definitely! Now she wants me to come in front of the camera so, if I would be given an opportunity to enter ‘Bigg Boss’ house then I will definitely go there to support her in the show.”
Actress-dancer Rakhi Sawant, who entered the 'Bigg Boss 14' house as a challenger, has hogged all the limelight with her antics. Several fans have lauded Rakhi for raising the entertainment quotient on the reality show.
Rakhi Sawant’s husband Ritesh is also upset with Nikki Tamboli and Manu Punjabi’s comments against her in a recent episode of Bigg Boss 14. After Rakhi insinuated that there was a romance brewing between Nikki and Manu, they raised questions about her career and stature.
Talking about it, Ritesh said, “I think she is being targeted and provoked in the show. In fact, in our daily life, we also use abusive words. If you are physically assaulting someone and you are provoking someone constantly then what that guy is supposed to do to vent out his or her frustration? So I am not convinced with what Manu (Punjab) and Nikki (Tamboli) said to Rakhi”.
In a recent episode of Bigg Boss 14, Rakhi said about Nikki, “Mardon ko Kone Mein le lekar baithti hai, chugalkhor (She takes men in a corner, she is a gossipmonger).” Nikki slammed Rakhi for the comment and said that everyone knows what kind of work she has done in the last 15 years.
Manu also slammed Rakhi for questioning his friendship with Nikki and asked, “Aapki aukaat kya hai ki aap mujhe bologi (What is your stature, that you are saying this to me)?”
Talking about their marriage Ritesh said, “I would say that she is the best wife because she has been so considerate with me. I thought that announcing our marriage would affect my business because I was holding 2-3 defense projects and I was also doing a project in the aerospace sector in which I was connected with the government. I feel that our marriage can be made into a film. It will do better than other films.”
He added, “It was love at first sight for us and before that, we didn’t meet each other. We used to talk over calls then we met each other and got married within 2-3 days. I told Rakhi that our pictures shouldn’t get leaked anywhere in the media or social media and as an ideal wife, she followed that too. Rakhi is like a small child and to be honest, the kind of love and affection she has showered upon me and my family, she has won my family’s heart after our marriage. She is like an angel to me and I don’t think I could pay her debts in the next seven births.”
When asked Ritesh why felt the need to talk with the media at this moment, he said, “I decided to talk with the media because I want to support her. I think she has the potential to win the show. I think she is being misrepresented in the show and her true side is not being shown in it, so I wanted the people of India to know her story. We did a very formal marriage ceremony and she has been with me through thick and thin periods of my life.”
