Janhvi Kapoor Wishes Gunjan Saxena

Actress Janhvi Kapoor took to her social media profile and wished the real Gunjan Saxena – The Kargirl Girl on her birthday, on which her next film is based.

Dhadak debutante Janhvi Kapoor will be seen playing the role of real life hero Gunjan Saxena in her second film, The Kargil Girl, which is based on veteran IAF war hero.

As Gunjan Saxena turns a year older today, actress Janhvi Kapoor took to her social median and wished the real life hero in the most heart-warming way. She wrote, “Happy Birthday Gunjan mam! Thank you for teaching me the true meaning of bravery, the importance of working hard and sincerely and for paving the way for millions of women in our country.

You’re an inspiration and a hero, without ever having tried to be. Your story has helped me believe in myself, and hopefully will help others too”

In the film actress Janhvi Kapoor will be seen playing fighter pilot and first female Shaurya Chakra recipient war veteran Gunjan Saxena. The film is based on Gunjan Saxena, played an important role in transferring injured soldiers from the war location during the Kargil War.

Directed by Sharan Sharma, the film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Vineet Kumar Singh and Angad Bedi in important roles. While Pankaj plays Janhvi’s onscreen father, Angad essays the role of her brother.
It is set to hit theatres on March 13, 2020.
