Jennifer Lopez, Cardi B, Lizzo, Keke Palmer And More In ‘Hustlers’.

The trailer for the star-studded Hustlers film debuted, highlighting appearances from Jennifer Lopez, Keke Palmer, Constance Wu, Lizzo, and Cardi B. Lorene Scafaria’s drama is based on The Cut’s article “The Hustlers at Scores” by Jessica Pressler, who describes the story as “a modern Robin Hood story for you: a few strippers who stole from (mostly) rich, (usually) disgusting, (in their minds) pathetic men and gave to, well, themselves”.
In the trailer, Lopez plays a hardened stripper who teaches Wu’s newbie her moves on the pole. Set to Cardi B’s track “Money,” the women decide to take advantage of a few of their clients, and apparently take things a little too far.
A modern Robin Hood story — centered on strippers. It focuses on a few women who use their wits and smarts (and sometimes some drugs and prostitutes) to manipulate money out of clients at the club (many of them from Wall Street).
Alongside Lopez, Scafaria has also cast breakouts and standbys like Constance Wu, Keke Palmer, Julia Stiles, Lili Reinhart, Trace Lysette, and Madeline Brewer. And then there are the real surprises: fellow pop and rap superstars Cardi B and Lizzo. The film releases on 13th September 2019.
