John Abraham Confirms Biopic On Revathi Roy
It is official action superstar John Abraham announces a new film in collaboration with Robbie Grewal and Anil Bohra. The film will be based on social entrepreneur Revathi Roy’s life.
The untitled biopic of Revathi Roy will be helmed by Robbie Grewal. The title and other details will be announced shortly, the film is currently in pre-production stages.
John Abraham took to his social media and confirmed the film. He tweeted, “Very happy to have @revathi_roy on board; her story flips the ‘rags to riches’ adage in a compelling way. A truly eventful & inspiring life that has empowered so many women in India. Revathi Roy is a serial entrepreneur who has been working towards empowering urban poor women since 2007 whether be it by pioneering Asia’s first all-women taxi service, Porsche or recently founding India’s first all-women instant parcel delivery service, Hey Deedee.
Revathi Roy is the first woman to have ever started an all-female taxi service and the first all-woman last-mile delivery services.
Meanwhile on the work front, after hitting a hat-trick in 2019 with Romeo Akbar Walter, Batla House, and Pagalpanti, actor John Abraham has lined up interesting releases in 2020, such as Mumbai Saga, Attack and Satyameva Jayate 2.
