"Junglee Pictures Confirm Doctor G Starring Ayushmann Khurrana".
After delivering two massive hits, Badhaai Ho and Bareilly Ki Barfi, actor Ayushmann Khurrana and Junglee Pictures are collaborating once again for a campus comedy titled Doctor G, hoping to hit a hat-trick.
The official handle of Junglee Pictures confirmed the new movie on social media. It said, “Guess who we’ve booked a third appointment with doctor…Reuniting for a hat-trick with @ayushmannk in and as #DoctorG @anubhuti_k @Saurabhbharat @vishalwagh21 #SumitSaxena”
The film is produced by Junglee Pictures and directed by Anubhuti Kashyap. While the story is by Saurabh Bharat and Vishal Wagh, the screenplay is by Sumeet Saxena, Saurabh, Vishal, and Anubhuti, who will also make her directorial debut with the film.
Actor Ayushmann Khurrana also expressed his excitement about the project. He tweeted, “Opening soon for a consultation. #DoctorG @JungleePictures @anubhuti_k @Saurabhbharat @vishalwagh21 #SumitSaxena”
Ayushmann Khurrana will be seen in a doctor’s role for the first in his career, other details and cast hasn’t been announced, yet.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann is shooting for his forthcoming film Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui along with Vaani Kapoor. The film is helmed by Abhishek Kapoor. The film is touted to be a progressive love story.
In Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, Ayushmann plays the role of a cross-functional athlete. The film marks the first collaboration of Ayushmann, Vaani, and Abhishek.
