Kalki Koechlin speaks out about #MeToo Movement

Everywhere you go, you are bombarded by the #MeToo movement, and celebrities are having a hard time answering the question. However, they are doing it to the best of their capabilities. Recently, Kalki Koechlin was asked about her thoughts on the Me Too movement and this is what she had to say:

“Whoever is speaking out about whatever has happened to them are laudable. Right now, I am sure the various investigating agencies are hard at work and will find out the truth behind the allegations. However, at this point, we should also be careful not to put everything that we think is harassment under a single umbrella. Touching inappropriately, groping, rape and sexual harassment are different and we should be careful about what allegations are leveled against people.”

Kalki Koechlin is actually close to the #MeToo movement, much closer than she lets on. After all, Vikas Bahl, one of the first directors to be accused of sexual harassment was the partner of her then husband, Anurag Kashyap.
