Undisputed Queen of Bollyoowd Kangana Ranaut rang Christmas in style and with the entire team here in Mumbai. As the team wraps up the post-production work, designer Neeta Lulla, who has done the costumes for the lead characters of the film, threw a party for the team.
Actress Kangana Ranaut, Ankita Lokhande and Mishti along with producer Kamal Jain and host Neeta Lulla were seen having a gala time at the party.
The fashionista of Bollywood Kangana was seen wearing a grey-black figure-flaunting long skirt and jacket combination while Ankita Lokhane kept it simple in a dull pink dress. Neeta wore an ankle-length kurta-style dress.
Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is an upcoming historical biographical film based on the life of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi. The film is co-directed by Krish and Kangana Ranaut and produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain and Nishant Pitti.
The film stars Kangana Ranaut in title role of Rani Laxmi Bai, who led the war against the British East India Company, during the Indian Rebellion of 1857.
The elaborate costume drama based on life of Rani Laxmi Bai of Jhansi, begins from the time she was a spirited young girl called Manikarnika and journeys through her life — marriage, motherhood, queen and finally martyrdom — while giving us a glimpse of the Indian revolt of 1857.
The film also stars an incredible ensemble of Jisshu Sengupta, Richard Keep, Suresh Oberoi, Danny Denzongpa, Vaibhav Tatwawaadi, Ankita Lokhande, Yash Tonk, R. Bhakti Klein, Mishti, Unnati Davara and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in pivotal roles.
