"Ludo Ensemble Was My First Choice Says Anurag Basu".
Anurag Basu is a director who's proved his worth with films like Barfi and Life In A Metro. The director is all geared up for his next release Ludo which stars Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Bachchan, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, and Fatima Sana Sheikh.
During his recent media interaction, the filmmaker talked about the characters of the film and stated that all the characters in this film were his first choice and he was lucky that on one call they all agreed.
Anurag said, “All the characters in this film are my first choice. Fortunately, they immediately agreed when I asked them. Because when I was writing the story I had these same characters in my mind”.
Talking about his film Anurag said, “As the game Ludo in this film also there are 4 players. They all are sitting in each other corners with no connection with each other. The game starts, they start crossing each other’s path. It’s a domino effect, the joy ride, the systematic chaos. Just like all lives. We all are connected with this invisible threat. Knowingly and unknowingly we are affecting each other’s life”
Ludo is an anthology dark comedy crime film directed by Anurag Basu. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anurag Basu, and Tani Basu under the banners of T-Series and Anurag Basu Productions.
The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Rohit Suresh Saraf, Pearle Maaney, and Asha Negi in pivotal roles. It will be released on 12 November 2020 on Netflix.
