Malayalam Film maker Aashiq Abu announces Virus

Aashiq Abu, the renowned Malayalam film-maker has recently announced his next project which is tentatively titled Virus. The maker has made an official announcement through his official Facebook page along with the film’s initial Poster Design.

Virus seems to be quite a magnum opus with most Top-Lister industry artists joining the project. The film is set to star Revathy, Asif Ali, Tovino Thomas, Parvathy, Rima Kallingal, Kalidas Jayaram, Remya Nambeeshan, Soubin Shahir, Dileesh Pothen, Chemban Vinod Jose and others in some important roles as per mentioned in the initial poster design which was shared by the maker.

The poster, which says that the film is based on true events, speculations are made that the film may revolve around the outbreak of the Nipah virus that affected Kerala in the middle of 2018.The initial poster design also show tow people carrying bag which is full of blood on a stretcher! The maker also shared a status of “Our Next.. Based on our True Stories” while sharing the news.The film has a tentative release of 2019.
