Mani Ratnam is back with an enthralling gangster drama in “Chekka Chivantha Vaanam”.
The director is all set to redeem himself with his upcoming film Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, with same the energy which he had in the days of Thalapathy starring Rajinikanth and Mammooty in the lead role.
Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is a multi-starrer film about three brothers Arvind Swami, Simbu and Arun Vijay, aiming to become the alpha male, Vijay Sethupathi plays Rasool, a cop. He plays a grey role, whose loyalty seems to be up for grabs for the highest bidder. and is seen teaming up with Simbu in the film. The gangster drama seems to be full of twists and turns, betrayals, and a lot of gun battles.
It’ll be interesting how Sethupathi’s character plays out in Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. Also, it looks like the colours play a huge role in depicting each person’s character.
It was initially scheduled for a release on September 28, but now the makers have decided to screen the film a day ahead of its initial release date. The film will now hit the screens on September 27.
The film is also starring Arvind Swami, Jyothika, Aditi Rao Hydari, Simbu, Dayana Erappa, Arun Vijay, Aishwarya Rajesh, Vijay Sethupathi, Prakash Raj and Jayasudha playing significant roles, directed by Mani Ratnam.
