Manushi Chhillar Celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi
Miss World and aspiring actress Manushi Chhillar celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi with proper rituals and credits her folks for cultural diversity which allows her to celebrate every festival from various places.
Manushi hails from Haryana and now settled in Mumbai, where Ganpati Festival is celebrated with zeal and fervor.
Sharing some life lessons taught by her parents, Manushi shared a picture from the Ganpati celebration and wrote, “My parents always wanted me to experience different cultures and celebrate them. I’m from Haryana but Mumbai is my home too. This is the first year that I’m keeping Ganpati at home and I couldn’t be happier!!”
“Celebrating festivals like this is very important because it brings people and cultures closer but if we can celebrate it in the most eco-friendly way, we will also contribute towards nature conservation. My idol has seeds embedded in it so I’m going to do the Visarjan at home in a clay tree pot. I’m looking forward to nurturing the seeds well so that life sprouts from it. #HappyGaneshChaturthi” added Manushi.
After winning Miss World Crown in 2017, Manushi will soon make her debut on the silver screen with Yash Raj Films Prithviraj.
The historical action drama is directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Aditya Chopra under his production house Yash Raj Films. It is about the life of the Chahamana king Prithviraj Chauhan and stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role of Chauhan, while Manushi Chhillar plays his wife Samyukta.
The film is scheduled to release in theatres in India on the occasion of Diwali in 2020.
