"Nawazuddin Siddiqui mourns demise of his acting guru Valentin Teplyakov".

Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui paid his last tributes to his acting teacher ValentinTeplyakov on social media on Monday. ‘New York’ actor took to his Instagram account to share a post mourning Teplyakov's demise Nawazuddin mentioned his death as an "irreparable loss to the world of acting."

Sharing the picture of Teplyakov, Nawazuddin wrote, “I am deeply disheartened about the loss of my Acting Guru #ValentinTeplyakov - The man who introduced me to Method Acting and it’s depth. An irreparable loss to me & to the world of Art of Acting.”

In February this year, Nawazuddin had spoken about reuniting with his acting Guru after years, in an Instagram post.

The actor had shared a photograph of his teacher and written: "The man who introduced me to Method Acting, Sir Valentin Teplyakov from Moscow. I acted in his play IVANOV (Anton Chekhov) in 1996, which changed me as an actor. Honored to meet you after so long."

On the personal front, Nawazuddin’s wife Aaliya had sent a legal notice seeking a divorce to end their 11 years of marriage in May 2020.

On the film front, Nawazuddin was last seen onscreen in Sudhir Mishra’s satirical comedy-drama film ‘Serious Men’ which released on Netflix in October 2020.

He will next be seen onscreen in Shamas Nawab Siddiqui’s ‘Bole Chudiyan’ along with Tamannaah Bhatia.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is also set to star in director Jaideep Chopra’s Sangeen’’, featuring his Sacred Games’ co-star Elnaaz Norouzi. The film will be shot across London and Mumbai and will go on floors in January 2021.
