No Pressure, I am Enjoying the Film Says Arjun Kapoor

Actor Arjun Kapoor says that he is enjoying the shoot of Panipat, his first-period war drama film, on the sidelines of a fashion event here in Mumbai.

Actor Arjun Kapoor was interacting with media on the sidelines of Emporio Armani new collection launch here in Mumbai.

Talking about the pressure of his first ever period war drama film Panipat, Arjun said, “When you’re lost in shooting and preparations, you don’t think about pressure. You only think about that particular day’s pressure that today I need to do a good job. I am enjoying it thoroughly; this is my first-period action film”

“I am working with Sanjay Dutt, Kriti Sanon, and Ashutosh Gowarikar for the first time and it is a massive ensemble cast, the sets are humungous, epic war sequences, so to get lost in that world, I am enjoying it. As an actor one lives for these moments, when you are lost in a whole different world”

Arjun Kapoor has been using a hat to cover her new hairstyle and at times has been spotting covering his face avoiding being photographed. When asked about the secrecy, the actor said, “Yes, we’re trying to hide the look because Ashutosh Gowarikar believes that when I am presented as Peshwa, it should have an impact. My mustache is upward, I am playing a Peshwa, and we’re working hard. And it should be seen within the premise of the film so that the context is understood”

Panipat is an upcoming historical period drama film directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar. It stars Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon and is set to release on 6 December 2019.
