Noted Malyalam actor “Captain Raju” passes away at his residence in Kochi.

Veteran Actor Captain Raju, had quit from the Indian Army where he was a Captain and started his acting career in 1981 with “Raktham” He was survived by his wife Prameela and son Raviraj.

Hailing from Pathanamthitta district, 68 years old actor has starred in more than 500 Malayalam films and has also been a part of numerous projects in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and English as well.

He was often cast as a villain and has featured in character roles and in TV serials. He was last seen in the Malayalam film “Masterpiece”. It is going to be a huge loss for the cinema, as he was the integral part of it. Some of his popular movies include Nadodikattu, Oru Vadakkan Veeragadha and Pavam Krooran.

In addition to acting, he has also directed two films “Mr Pavanayi 99.99” and “Itha Oru Snehagatha”.
