Actor Pratik Gandhi who has been praised by the audience and critics for his outstanding performance in Hansal Mehta’s web series ‘Scam 1992’, is on cloud nine these days. In his social media post, Pratik expressed his gratitude towards his fans and followers on Monday and added that he couldn’t have asked for a better project to start off his career in the big league of Bollywood.

‘Scam 1992’ has been getting positive reviews from audience and critics since its release for its storyline, direction, and performances of the actors but Pratik has got nationwide fame after his successful stint in Gujarati films.
The web series is based on a 1992 Indian stock market scam committed by stockbroker Harshad Mehta, the series is adapted from journalist Sucheta Dalal and Debashish Basu's 1993 book ‘The Scam: Who Won, who Lost, who Got Away’. It also stars Shreya Dhanwanthary, Anjali Barot, Satish Kaushik, Hemant Kher, and Nikhil Dwivedi in important roles. The series is currently the highest-rated Hindi-language Indian web series on IMDb with a rating of 9.6 out of 10.
Pratik started his acting career by working in Gujarati theatre. He has featured in Gujarati films such as ‘Wrong Side Raju’, ‘Tamburo’, ‘Love Ni Bhavai’, ‘Dhunki’, ‘Ventilator’, and ‘Luv Ni Love Storys’. He has also appeared in Hindi films like ‘Mitron’ and ‘Loveyatri’.
