PROMOTING HIS NEXT, SHAHID KAPOOR SPORTS HIS ‘JERSEY CREW’ MASK

Shahid Kapoor, who has reportedly completed the shoot for his upcoming sports release JERSEY, was seen at the airport on Monday.

JERSEY, which is the Bollywood remake of the Telugu blockbuster movie with the same name, will star Shahid in the lead role.

Posting on his Instagram account, he said,”47 days of the shoot during covid. Just unbelievable. I am so proud of the entire team. It’s nothing short of a miracle. I want to thank each and everyone from the unit for coming to the set every day, putting themselves at risk, and doing what we all love doing. Telling stories that touch hearts and make a difference. Jersey is a story that speaks of a Phoenix rising from the ashes. The triumph of an indomitable spirit. If there was ever a time I could connect with the underlying spirit of a film this was it. As we all fight through this pandemic. Let’s always remember. This shall pass too. Here’s to Jersey... we shall overcome!!!!”

Directed by Gowtham Tinnamuri, JERSEY is a comeback story of a retired cricketer. Alongside Shahid, Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Tripathi will be seen in the main roles. Though the makers have not yet confirmed the release date, JERSEY is one of the much-awaited films of 2021.
