Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon to return with Paresh Rawal and Dimple Kapadia in new comedy
Producer Dinesh Vijan is coming back with another situational comedy with Bareilly Ki Barfi duo Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon. The two will be seen playing orphans who are planning to adopt parents. The film will also see National Award winners Paresh Rawal and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles as the parents.
The plot is said to revolve around the young couple who wish to fulfil their wish of having parents and foster an older couple but then end up disturbing their lives and destroying their marriage. The untitled project is will debut Gujarati filmmaker Abhishek Bachchan and has previously worked Subhash Ghai and Sanjay Leela Bhansali on Chenab Gandhi and Guzaarish.
Reports suggest the film might go on floor by March 2020 and the cast will begin shooting first in Delhi and will possibly head to screens by the end of 2020. Rajkummar Rao will also be seen in two projects this year including, Chhalaang and Roohi Afzana. Kriti Sanon is currently shooting for Mimi which will be followed by Akshay Kumar’s Bachchan Pandey.
