Ranveer Singh Confirms Jayeshbhai Jordaar With Yash Raj Films

Ranveer Singh is returning to Yash Raj Films camp with Jayesh Bhai Jordaar, written and directed by debutante filmmaker Divyang Thakkar.

Actor Ranveer Singh and filmmaker/writer Divyang Thakkar released a fun and quirky video to make the official announcement of the film, which is mostly in Gujarati, hinting that the main character of the film will hail from the region.

Yash Raj Films official handle dropped the video on social media. They captioned it, “@RanveerOfficial in and as #JayeshbhaiJordaar Directed by #DivyangThakkar and produced by #ManeeshSharma #YRFAnnouncement @JJ_TheFilm”

Actor Ranveer Singh also tweeted  the same, he wrote, “Where in the world did this kid come from?!?!? #DivyangThakkar is straight up JORDAAR !!! @yrf #JayeshbhaiJordaar”

The actor also hailed the script of the film, he wrote, “Its a ‘miracle script’!!!Thrilled to announce my next film – ‘JAYESHBHAI JORDAAR’ @yrf #JayeshbhaiJordaar”

Jayeshbhai Jordaar stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role, the film is directed by Divyang Thakkar and produced by Maneesh Sharma. The other details are still under wraps and will be unveiled soon.

Ranveer has been on a roll in the industry, and has worked with top filmmakers like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Rohit Shetty, Zoya Akhtar and Kabir Khan. After amassed nationwide love as an actor across all demographics, it was natural for him to back a newcomer.

“Jayeshbhai Jordaar” will be Ranveer’s next release after “83”, in which the actor will be seen as former Indian cricket team captain Kapil Dev.
