Revealed! It will be Alia Bhatt VS Fake Godman in SADAK 2.

Recently, as per report ‘SADAK 2’ will revolve around the protagonist’s (Alia) encounters with a Godman. The glamorous diva, has multiple projects lined up in her kitty, will be soon collaborating with her father and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt for the first time. The father-daughter duo has teamed up for the movie SADAK 2.

The film which is the sequel to Mahesh Bhatt’s 1991 hit movie, SADAK also marks the filmmaker’s comeback after 20 years. It will also feature Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt in key roles who played leads in the original.

When asked, Alia said about working with her father on the movie. She also said that even though she understands his sensibilities as a father, working with him in a professional set-up would be a different “ball game” altogether. “It will never be easy as I don’t know him as a director.

Alia also revealed it was the original star of Sadak, Sanjay Dutt, who convinced Bhatt to return to the director’s chair. Bhatt’s last directorial was 1999 film Kartoos.

Alia said the film takes forward the story of Ravi and Pooja and she will be a new addition to the story along with Aditya. Sadak 2 is scheduled to hit the screens on March 25, next year. The movie will also feature Aditya Roy Kapur and Gulshan Grover in lead roles along with Alia Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt.
