Riteish Deshmukh and his wife Genelia Deshmukh were very close to his father Vilasrao Deshmukh. Time and again, the duo have been seen sharing videos and status remembering the late politician and their admiration for him. Today marks his 8th Death Anniversary and the couple remembered him by sharing special messages for him.
Sharing a photo of Vilasrao Deshmukh, Riteish wrote, "Use your smile to change the world. Don't let the world change your smile. #SmritiDini Miss You PAPPA!!"
Genelia wrote, "Dearest Pappa, There will never be another like you...We miss you"
Vilas Rao Deshmukh was an Indian Politician who served two terms as the Chief Minister of the state of Maharashtra. He also served in the Union Cabinet as the Minister of Science and Technology and Minister of Earth Sciences. He died on 14th August in 2012 due to apparent multiple organ failure and his cremation took place on 15th August, India's Independence Day at Babhalgaon, his village, in Latur district.
Meanwhile, the couple who turned vegan three years back, recently started a new plant-based meat venture, Imagine Meats. They have partnered with the US-based global ingredients manufacturer to experiment and bring out products under the Imagine Meats brand. The company aims to launch plant-based kebabs, biryanis and curries very soon under the brand.
